Firework Usage

Under the new Fireworks ordinance, fireworks may be shot off from July 1 to July 5. Fireworks may be lit from 10:30 am to 10:30 pm. However on the 4th of July fireworks may be shot from 10:30 am to midnight. If you're planning an event and would like to receive special permission to shoot fireworks beyond this time frame, please contact City Hall at 665-7328. Enjoy the holiday, and be safe while you're having fun.

City of Overbrook applied for CDBG-CV Grant - Assists local businesses and meal programs

The Overbrook City Council has approved applying for the CDBG-CV grant and expect to hear the results back within 15 days. At our council meeting next week we will be finalizing the process for how local businesses are to follow to participate if the grant is awarded. You can find out more info by clicking here.
Notice to end open dumping at Overbrook Tree Dump

We will resume normal operation of our tree dump beginning Friday, May 29th. You will need to check out a key at Overbrook City Hall. Tree and yard waste only. Thank you!

Painting Parking lines downtown 4/23 and 4/24

We will be painting parking spot lines this week in the 200 block of Maple Street on Thursday April 23rd and Friday April 24th. We will cone off the area(s) for approximately 8 hours to allow them to dry. If you have any questions, please call City Hall 665-7328. Weather permitting, we will paint other areas within the next few weeks. Thank you!

Osage County Recycling suspending service until further notice.

Osage County Recycling is removing the Recycling trailer on Ash until further notice due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Does not affect curbside recycling.

The Overbrook Rotary Club, as a measure of community safety, is CANCELLING their Pancake Feed scheduled for tomorrow morning at the Methodist Church. If you purchased tickets, please see the Rotarian for a refund.
