Animal Services
The City of Overbrook, Kansas Animal Services' is run by our local police department and provides the following assistance to all residents. They are dedicated to helping protect the health, safety and welfare of both people and animals in our community.
- Responding to stray animal complaints
- Investigating dangerous animals
- Impoundments
- Barking dog complaints
- Carcass removal
- Ordinance enforcement

2024 Pet license tags may be purchased at City Hall. Tags are $5.00 for neutered pets and $10.00 if not. All cats and dogs, over 6 months of age, whether kept indoors or out are required to have a tag. Proof of current rabies vaccination is needed.
