Identification Verification Program

The Overbrook Police Department is happy to announce that we are partnering with the Kansas Department of Labors Identification Verification Program. This program is in response to the hacking of individuals identities for unemployment compensation benefits.
To download a verification form, simply go to the Kansas Department of Labor website, fraud division and download the Law Enforcement Identity Verification form and bring in the required identification documents. From there, contact the Overbrook Police Department at 785-665-7320 and set an appointment. If no answer, leave a message with your contact information and an officer will get back with you. There is no charge from the Police Department for this service. Chief Hollingsworth.
The Identification program is run by the Department of Labor and is for any Kansas resident who needs their identification verified in order to apply for unemployment or for those already on unemployment who wish to continue unemployment benefits. This is in respone to the fake unemployment applications the KS D.O.L. has received.
