Overbrook Public Safety Committee Meeting

Overbrook Committee to discuss public safety. Meets at the Overbrook Library Community Room on 6/27 at 7PM. Everyone welcome to attend. Possible projects might include free car seat check day, neighborhood watch, free CPR classes, raising funds for the new volunteer fire department building. Overbrook Farmer's Market

The Overbrook Farmer's market is on Mondays from 4-6 at the Overbrook Fairgrounds at 510 N Cedar. You can find all sorts of homemade goods, plants, and vegetables. Show up hungry because there are food trucks! Hope to see you out there!

Family Night at the Overbrook Fairgrounds

Family Night at the Overbrook Fairgrounds starts at 6:00PM. There will be a lot to do with Food Trucks, Vendors, Kids Activities (Touch a Firetruck or even play in it's hose!), and even a firework show after dark! For more information on this event check out their website at https://overbrookfair.weebly.com/.

City of Overbrook's Independence Day Celebration

Ends: 7/4/2022

Independence Day Celebration – Monday July 4th, Children’s bike parade starting at 11:00am meet at the water tower by the old High School.  Free hot dogs and root beer floats at the end of the parade at the lake shelter house provided by the Overbrook United Methodist Church.  Evening activities begin at the city lake at 6:00 pm with an inflatable water slide for kids, Beer Garden sponsored by TJ’s, Food Trucks including Kansas Snack Shack, Last Minute BBQ, 2 Girls 1 Truck, Flatlanders Pizza, and the Masonic Lodge. Free watermelon for the community provided by the Overbrook Bible Church.  Music D.J.’d by Dusty Workman.  Fireworks begin at dark.   Donations for the fireworks celebration can be made out to Overbrook Pride Inc and mailed to PO Box 75, Overbrook, KS 66524 or dropped off at City Hall.

Overbrook Infrastructure Committee Meeting

Overbrook Committee to discuss Infrastructure meets 7/06 at 6:00PM at City Hall. Everyone welcome to attend. Some possible discussion points include: Sidewalks, streets, use of buildings, broadband/fiber internet.
